Sue
Owner & CEO
Building the team from day one, Sue could tell you some stories about how we got to where we are. She is a pioneer for women in the trades and is well known for her demeanor and friendly spirit. To her family and friends, she is well-known as a caring nurturer and is always doing what she can to help a friend in need. When Sue isn’t working, she loves spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys cuddling with her “grand-dog” Franklin.
James
Operations Manager
James came on board with us full-time in 2018 and has been a tremendous asset to running the day-to-day operations here at Pelles. Originally from the South Hills of Pittsburgh, James is a Navy veteran and served on a Submarine based in Pearl Harbor in Navigation Electronics. James is also an active member of his church community. When he isn’t working, he enjoys mountain biking, drone flying, and hanging out with his wife on the weekends.
Kehle
Comfort Advisor and Networking Specialist
Kehle came on board full-time in 2015 but worked in the warehouse doing part-time summer work and scrapping for years. Her job description has changed a few times over the years as the business has grown, but now she is mostly in the field meeting our customers face-to-face, where she loves to be. Kehle is actively involved in her church and coaches Upward basketball on the weekends. When Kehle isn’t working, you can find her either at the gym, cooking a nutritious meal, or her favorite thing to do– hanging out with her husband and family.
Jake
Service and Installation Technician
Jake has been with the Pelles team since 2018. He is our first graduate from the apprenticeship program and has yet to face a challenge that he isn’t willing to “take a swing at”. He loves to learn and has a natural gift for solving problems. He comes from a big family and now he feels like a part of ours. Jake is a member of the worship team at his church where he and his wife attend every Sunday. When he isn’t working, you can probably find Jake working on projects in their first home or staying active with an adventure.
Austin
Apprentice and Installation
One of our newest team members, Austin is excited to learn, and even more excited to develop his craft in the trades. He has a passion for helping people and looks forward to doing just that here at Pelles. When he isn’t working, Austin enjoys spending time with loved ones, playing his guitar, or playing a round of golf.
Bruce Schaffner
February 22nd, 1961 – December 27th, 2020
Bruce was a key member of the Pelles team for 22 years and he is dearly missed. Not only was Bruce a superman when it came to fixing anything mechanical but he was also a part of the family. We have so much history with him that it is hard to put into words how much his absence is felt. A skilled craftsman and a loving father, he will forever be remembered for his peaceful nature, dependability, and willingness to help anyone who needed him.
